It was a long, dry winter out here in northern California, but now we’re enjoying some lovely spring sunshine.  Out on Lake Merritt the last few migratory ducks seem to be packing their bags, but there are still quite a few Eared Grebes floating around sporting their breeding plumage.

Things have been busy in the workshop lately, with packages and deliveries going out to many stockists, including Modern Mouse in Alameda, CA, The Rare Bird in Oakland, CA, Sparrow Collective in Milwaukee, WI and the Muir Woods visitor center in CA.

I’m also preparing for my first show of the year at the Bedford Gallery in Walnut Creek.  Their Spring Craft Fest is free and open to the public on Sunday, May 4th from 10-5, and it’ll be a perfect opportunity to pick up a little something special for your mom (or yourself).
